Starting back in August 2009, the 5 new players joined the Tigers after the fallout from last year. Most would consider that a rebuilding year!
Some gave us no chance! Some told us that we wouldn't be any good!
18 tournaments were played in the 2010 season and the Tigers played in the championship game in 12 of those tournaments, including a state tournament.
6 of those 12 championship games, we won 1st place! We also have three 3rd place
finishes. Hard to argue with numbers like that! A very successful season to say the least. One thing we've learned this year! It's fun being the underdog
and don't tell Coach Stuart his players aren't good enough! Heaven knows, he loves chalkboard material!!

The Tigers were in Gulf Shores soaking up the sun and playing some good baseball. 7 games total with only 2 losses (by 1 run each) was a
respectable weekend of baseball. The heartbreaking 5-4 loss to the East Cobb Titans from Atlanta, GA on Saturday morning was the game that
took the Tigers out of contention. Their first loss of the World Series and it didn't come without heartache. The last game of the consolation bracket
for the Tigers was one that the kids will remember for a while! They got to coach the bases and Conner called the pitches. 7 different pitchers pitched an inning each, completing
my goal of every kid on the Tigers team getting the opportunity to pitch in a World Series! And they won, 10-8! Overall, a wonderful experience for the
guys on the 2010 Tiger team. We came up a little short, but this group of kids are always champions!

Coming off the 2nd place North State finish, the Tigers take 3rd in the South State. Solid pitching and defensive play helped land the Tigers in
the semifinals until they fell 13-8 to the Slidell Sluggers.

In the unseasonably 100+ degree weather, the Tigers gave everything they had in the North State championship. A heartbreaking loss in pool play forced the Tigers to a lower
seed and the 8 am game on Sunday. Also, putting them having to play 3 games on Sunday in the heat to win it all. The Tigers defeated the LA Thunder in the
semifinals and nothing was left in the tank for the championship game! The coaches and kids wanted nothing more than to win that semifinal game and dominate. Nothing gets
Coach Stuart and his boys fired up more than being told 'You're not good enough!' Great job to the Tigers for a great tournament!
